A tamper that takes your wrist out of the equation. Press until the spring gives and rebounds, and the puck has received 30 lb, or 15 lb if you swap in the lighter spring that comes in the box. The fixed collar keeps it square to the basket, so the tamp is level as well as repeatable.
The ripple base grips the coffee surface for a denser puck. It is the compact version, sized for small benches and travel setups. Buy the tamper alone or paired with a matching distributor.
