Toni
Dark chocolate, hazelnut, plum. A medium-dark roast with a body you can feel. Chocolate runs from the first sip to the last. Hazelnut fills the middle. A soft plum note keeps it from going flat.
Named for Toni Morrison, who shaped Black literature and much of how people picture Black culture. The coffee is unapologetic in the same way. This is the pot that gets passed around the table.
It holds up under milk better than most medium-dark roasts. Black, it is rich without turning bitter. If you want it darker and smokier, go with Stacey.
