Puck screens in three thicknesses. The single layer is the thin, everyday option and comes in 51, 54, and 58 mm. Double and triple layers, 58 mm only, spread the water hit more and hold up better to years of rinsing, at the cost of a little more headspace in the basket.

All are 304 stainless and reusable. Rinse after each shot; when they stain, a soak in espresso machine cleaner brings them back. A puck screen keeps the group cleaner and evens the first seconds of a shot. It does not fix a bad grind.
