Burundi doesn't get the shelf space Ethiopia does, and bags like this make that feel like an oversight. Necessary's lot runs to dark berries and a molasses-like sweetness, with subtle warming spices underneath — a deeper, moodier cup than most East African coffees on our shelf.
Good for people who like fruit in their coffee but want it stewed, not sparkling. If your usual order is a bright berry filter coffee, think of this as the winter-coat version.
