The stainless Kalita Wave 185, the flat-bottom dripper people recommend to beginners and then keep for themselves. The wave filter holds the paper off the dripper wall, so water drips quickly to the flat bed instead of pooling at the sides, and the brew stays even without a practiced pour.
Stainless steel survives the counter drop that ends a ceramic dripper. Brews 2–4 cups.
