Guatemala Guaya'b Light Roast
Cashew butter, plum, and piloncillo, the raw cane sugar you taste at the end of a good Guatemalan cup. A washed coffee from Huehuetenango, roasted light so the sweetness stays soft and the plum note stays clear.
The Guaya'b cooperative is 330 members, most of them indigenous, farming between 1,450 and 1,600 meters. Fair Trade premiums there have paid for member medical insurance and women's business training since 2000. Light roast means it will taste thin if you brew it weak: use the full dose.
