A single-piece stainless puck screen, precision etched with 0.15 mm pores and 0.8 mm thick, so it slips on top of the puck without eating headspace. Cleaner shower screen, more even saturation at the start of the shot.
The open-center version for 58 mm leaves the middle of the puck uncovered, which some people prefer for watching the extraction with a bottomless portafilter. Either way, rinse after use and drop it in a cleaning solution when it stains.
