Espresso Brioso

Chocolate and honey sweetness with a dark berry acidity underneath. An espresso blend built for milk drinks: mostly origin-forward coffees, with a darker roasted Guatemala added for the body and strength to hold up in a latte or cappuccino.

This is the blend Brioso pulls for milk drinks in its own cafes, and that is where it belongs. Pulled straight you get light fruit and soft florals, but it is a big, rounded shot rather than a delicate one. If you drink espresso black and want it brighter, Espresso Milano is the better pick.

Dial in around 1:2 (18 g in, 36 g out) and let the shot run a little longer if it tastes sharp. It also makes a good moka pot.
