A tamper that tells you when to stop. Press until the internal spring reaches its set force, hear the click, and let it rebound; every puck gets the same compression whether it is the first shot of the day or the fifth.
The body is seamless, so there is nowhere for grounds to collect, and cleanup is a wipe. 58 mm only, flat base. If you want to adjust the pressure rather than accept the preset, the titanium spring-loaded tamper has a dial; this one is simpler and cheaper.
