Caramel, dried cherry. A decaf from Valle del Cauca, Colombia that took a lot of cupping to find. Decaffeinated in Colombia with ethyl acetate made from sugarcane, which removes about 97 percent of the caffeine and tends to leave a sugary sweetness behind.

Most decaf tastes like an apology. This one tastes like caramel and dried cherry, with a medium body that works black or with milk. Nobody at the table will guess.

Brew it like any other medium roast. Start with our brew ratio guide.
