A knock box and tamping station in one, from Artizan. The body is walnut and 304 stainless steel; the knock bar and mat are silicone, which spares your portafilter and your ears.
It fits 58 mm portafilters and keeps knocking and tamping in one spot on the bench. The walnut is natural wood, so grain and small scars vary from unit to unit. That's the material, not a defect.
